    We have a few favorite places that we absolutely make sure we stop at when we are in Elizabethton & this is one of them! It's always busy, but when you get a table you will see why! I have only eaten breakfast once, but it was a huge portion & it was delicious. My favorite is the chicken salad & make sure you get a slice of one of their homemade desserts!

    My problem is that I went into this with unrealized expectations.

    The chicken salad was okay, the onions rings were less okay, and the coconut cream pie was pretty good.

    However, I expected the offerings from a culinary school graduate (the owner) to knock my socks off.  None of the above were extraordinary, just a little bit above ordinary.  In each case I've had better from other delis/burger joints/bakeries.  And I'm not talking about 'fancy' establishments, either.

    Best food in TriCities! Owner is top notch and employees are fantastic. All food is made fresh daily! Breakfast and Lunch Served Mon Thru Friday. Check them out for all your catering needs. Look them up on Facebook!

    Surprisingly vegetarian friendly - we had a delicious lunch.

    Soup beans with cheddar broccoli soup, only downside on the meal was the cornbread, it was super dry and barely edible.

    Another huge plus: this place is very affordable and put only a tiny dent in the wallet.

    I had the chicken salad on a croissant. It was great. The chicken salad had almonds and pineapple and didn't have too much mayonnaise. I skipped on the fries, but my husband had some and a burger. He said the burger was great and finished his meal off with some Butterfinger cake he was super excited about. This is a great place to grab a quick and tasty lunch.
